BIM365 places dedicated remote BIM modelers with architecture firms, MEP consultants and contractors who need more production hands than they can hire. Your modeler works only on your projects, takes direction from your BIM manager, and joins your calls and your Common Data Environment.

Every modeler is overseen by a senior MEP BIM coordinator with 7+ years on live projects, who checks quality and steps in when a problem needs experience. You get the flexibility of a contractor with a second pair of senior eyes on the work. See also our fixed-scope BIM services.

Engagement options

How You Can Work With Us

Choose the model that fits your workload. Many clients start with a fixed-scope pilot, then move to a dedicated modeler.

Option How it works Best for
Fixed-scope project Agreed scope, LOD and dates for one fixed price. One-off projects with clear drawings and deadlines.
Dedicated modeler One modeler full time on your projects, billed monthly, minimum three months. Steady workload, ongoing projects, long design phases.
Part-time modeler A modeler for an agreed number of hours each week, billed monthly. Smaller offices, overflow work, regular small updates.

How it works

How Hiring a Modeler Works

  1. Tell us the role. Discipline, Revit version, software, working hours overlap and start date.
  2. Test task. Your candidate completes a short paid test on your own drawings, so you see real work before committing.
  3. Onboarding. NDA signed, access to your CDE, template and standards, and an introduction call with your BIM manager.
  4. Daily work. Your modeler works your task list, joins your calls and reports progress at the end of each day.
  5. Monthly review. Monthly check-in on quality, workload and hours. Scale up, down or stop with 30 days' notice.

Low Risk to Start

  • Paid test task: see real work on your own project before you sign a monthly agreement.
  • Senior oversight: a coordinator with 7+ years checks the work and helps when a problem needs experience.
  • Replace or stop: if the fit is not right, we replace the modeler or you stop with 30 days' notice.
  • NDA before files move: the modeler works inside your ACC, BIM 360 or SharePoint.

We agree the hours with you. For US and UK clients, modelers usually overlap with the start of your working day for calls and handovers, then keep working while your office is closed, so markups sent in the evening are done by your morning.

Tell us. We first try to fix the issue through the coordinator. If the fit is still not right, we replace the modeler, or you can end the agreement with 30 days' notice.

It depends on the discipline, experience level and hours. A dedicated remote modeler usually costs much less than a local hire once salary, benefits, software and office costs are counted. Tell us the role and we send a monthly rate within 24 hours.
