BIM365 is a BIM outsourcing partner for Norwegian architects, consulting engineers and contractors. We model in Revit, deliver IFC that passes your model checks, and take on the modelling hours behind your discipline teams.

Our production team works from Jaipur, India, 3.5 to 4.5 hours ahead of Norway, and delivers through your project hotel or common data environment. See all our BIM services or how we run a BIM project.

Public clients and standards

Built for Norwegian openBIM Requirements

Statsbygg, the government's building commissioner, sets its BIM requirements in SIMBA, covering classification, object properties, IFC exchange and structured documentation. Other public and private clients set similar openBIM rules in their contracts.

We classify to NS 3451 or the system your contract names, work to NS-EN ISO 19650, and model to the TEK17 building regulations your consultants apply. Design responsibility and sign-off stay with your team.

Questions

BIM Services in Norway: Common Questions

SIMBA is Statsbygg's set of BIM requirements for its projects. It covers classification, object properties, IFC data exchange and structured documentation, built on level of information need principles. We set up Revit models and IFC exports to the SIMBA version and discipline requirements in your contract.

Yes. NS 3451, the Norwegian building parts table, is widely used to classify building elements in models. We add NS 3451 codes, or the classification your contract names, as properties on each element and check them in the IFC export.

Yes. We deliver one model per discipline, named and structured the way your project agrees, so each can be checked and coordinated on its own and combined in the coordination model.

Yes. We convert laser scans into as-built Revit models of the structure, facades and existing installations, so your team can plan rehabilitation and transformation work on an accurate base.

We support projects across Norway, including Oslo, Bergen, Trondheim and Stavanger. Our team works in English and uses your Norwegian templates, property names and drawing text, so the model matches your project documents.

Send us your BIM requirements, drawings or scan data. We reply with a scope, a schedule and a fixed price, and most enquiries get a reply within 24 hours.
